The Certification Studies in Music Business Program
 For students wishing to obtain a professional certification, we offer our optional 12-week certification program. The MuseSpring certification program is based on the knowledge and skills that provide expertise in the areas of music industry operations, management, and leadership. The emphasis of the program is to develop more knowledgeable industry professionals that benefit the music industry in a positive manner. The following assessments below are required in order to obtain your MuseSpring certification.
Each assessment has a course of study, which contains a study guide and recommended learning resources for you to use while completing said assessment. Your assigned mentor will help guide you through this process and more information is included within the PDF guide below.

What's the difference between a certification program and normal training on MuseSpring?
When a trainee enrolls in our subscription-based training, they may choose to complete as many, or as few courses as they wish. This means there are no requirements to finish courses, assignments, quizzes, etc. It's completely up to each student based on their own needs/motivation. In the certification program however, structure is introduced in that students are required to complete a defined curriculum - this means that courses must be completed in full to qualify for certification.
Do I have to sign up for the certification program?
Absolutely not. It's up to you entirely.
Is there a cost for the certification program?
Yes. A one-time fee of $499.
Do I receive anything extra or have to do anything extra when I sign up for the certification program?
Aside from a structured training plan and the requirements mentioned above, you will be required to complete an online advisory session with a course adviser to build a personalized curriculum that meets your own personal goals/objectives. Additionally, you will be required to complete a comprehensive final exam and capstone project prior to receiving your certification.
Will I need to buy text books or any outside materials?
All courses include everything needed to complete the certification program. You WILL need a webcam and active Skype account prior to completing your first assessment.
