What does e-Learning entail?
MuseSpring courses for the consist of one or more of the following components: * Streaming video lectures or tutorials * An electronic discussion through which students conduct dialogue with a mentor and other classmates at any time of the day or night * Posted ebooks, presentations, and/or supplemental training aides. Students attend online classes any time of the day or night that best fits their schedule and can stay in class as long as needed. Further, they can view the video lectures and discussions over and over until the content is fully understood - a capability particularly useful in absorbing business and technical subjects. Courses can be accessed online anywhere around the world with an internet connection (try learning on the beach...you'll love it!).

How often are courses held?
Our classes are virtual so you can login and take courses anytime, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year from MuseSpring. Furthermore, we add new courses/lessons frequently throughout the year so that you continue to learn and grow as long as you're an active student with us.

Will I get the same attention I would get in a traditional classroom setting?
Yes, we require all online instructors to respond to you in less than 48 hours.

Why should I consider MuseSpring training?

Do you offer certification?
Yes. We have an optional certification program should you opt to complete this course. After successfully completing a course, including passing the exams and completing any mandatory exercises, you will receive a certificate.

What's the difference between a regular training subscription and a certification program?
With a regular training subscription, you are free to choose and take any courses you wish, when you wish. The certification program is more structured. This includes a core course competency requirement, interaction with a counselor to create a custom training program designed to meet YOUR goals, increased instructor guidance/interaction, assignment completion requirements, and a final exam. In other words, the certification programs are structured just like traditional certification training programs.

How much time do I have to complete courses?
As much time as you need. As long as you are an actively enrolled student, you will have unlimited access to all MuseSpring training courses and materials. An actively enrolled student is one that is current on subscription fees.

What do courses include?
MuseSpring courses are designed to teach you information through slide-shows, with audio provided for each slide, downloadable course guides, and more as appropriate to the course being taught. In addition to the slide-shows, courses includes a downloadable workbook and supplemental training aides as applicable. To reinforce the concepts you have learned in each unit, there are WebBoard discussions. MuseSpring also provides additional online resources and a glossary related to your course of study when available. If you have questions regarding the content, an instructor will be available to answer your questions by e-mail.

Will I have access to real people?
Yes! The course will include activities that encourage you to interact with others. During the course, you also will be able to address questions directly to industry experts via e-mail. Technical support for your computer also will be available via e-mail at support@musespring.com.

Who should take these courses?
Each course is different, so be sure to read the course description before you begin a course. In general, to succeed in these courses, you will need to be able to read and understand English and a basic understanding of the music industry is recommended (but not required).

Is there a test?
There will be a quiz for many courses you enroll in (does not apply to application tutorials). If you answer 70% of the exam questions correctly, you will receive a report indicating successful completion of the course. If you are enrolled in a certification program, there will be a final exam.

Do I have to take the course at a certain time or on a specific day?
No. Take the courses at your convenience. They are all available 24 hours a day.

How long will a course take to complete?
That's up to you! All of our courses are designed to be completed in 5 hours or less and most lessons can be completed in 5 minutes or less.

Will I have to buy a textbook or other class materials?
No. You will be provided all workbooks with your enrollment if they are required. All courses are thoroughly written so you will not need to buy any required textbooks--although we will recommend additional reading materials to purchase--these materials are optional and you are not required to buy them to complete the course.

Is there a cost per course/lesson?
The fee you pay is for a 90-day or longer subscription and you gain access to the entire MuseSpring course library during your active subscription period. No other fees will be incurred by you to use our system.
